Students can access student-specific resources or get help either by contacting Canvas’ 24/7 support (chat, email, phone) or the McGraw Center.

Improve the accessibility of your Canvas course content

This January, the McGraw Center will offer several sessions to help improve the accessibility of course content. They are open to faculty, staff, and assistants in instruction. We hope you will join one of them!

Call for digital pedagogy grant proposals
Oct. 26, 2023

The Digital Learning and Design group in The McGraw Center invites proposals from faculty or a faculty member in partnership with a graduate student to develop digital pedagogy projects. Through this initiative, we seek to encourage faculty to explore creative uses of digital technology that promote active learning and support course learning goals. 

Please retrieve Blackboard course material by October 22, 2023
Oct. 9, 2023

Starting from June 30, 2024, we will no longer have a contractual relationship with Blackboard. However, until October 22, 2023, faculty, students, and staff will have direct access to Blackboard. After this date, faculty members can request content by filling out the Blackboard Content Request Form. After June 30, 2024, we will not be able to access the Blackboard environment anymore.

Take advantage of our accessibility tool

Our Panorama Accessibility tool helps faculty evaluate and enhance the accessibility of documents on Canvas. Additionally, it allows students to download alternative formats.

Important information about the sunsetting of Blackboard
Aug. 12, 2023

Our contractual agreement with Blackboard is set to terminate on June 30, 2024. Until October 22, 2023, faculty, students, and staff will have direct access to Blackboard. After this date, faculty members may request content by filling out the Blackboard Content Request Form. Please note that after June 30, 2024, access to the Blackboard environment will no longer be available.
